Ladies and gents, I just want to give you a heads up on an event coming to the High Museum in Midtown muy pronto! I have heard a few people talk about this already, so lets just get it out there. MY SON IS COMING TO VISIT ME IN ATLANTA! Yes folks you heard correctly, the High will have a new exhibit coming on November 16th focusing on my boy, Qin Shihuangdi, China's First Emperor. If you want to see more info on this upcoming exhibit, click on the following link (China's First Emperor). Hope you all can make it! It would be great to fill the High with our students that first weekend. By the way, the High is one of the best things Atlanta has to offer. As a student, you can actually be a member for $35, and then you can go in and out all the time. Something to think about...

Coming to a Museum Near You...

you know what we should do? i think we should skip class just for one day and go as a class field trip :] fun fun ! and that's great how your son is coming to see you...or for you to see him.
So the museum is all about Qin Shihuangdi? Well that and hopefully going to China will for sure give me ALOT of insite about him!
miss hammond... the museum itself is not a qin shihuangdi museum, it's actually a world famous, world class art museum. this is a special exhibit that's coming, but there's so much more to the high. if you haven't been, you DEFINITELY have to go, you'll be impressed. this city has a lot more to offer than some of you all may realize. and by the way, yes, between the qin shihuangdi exhibit coming here in november and the china trip in july, i hereby declare this the year of china! see you at the meeting next week then.
that is sorta ironic... yeah, i've heard about the high museum, it's supposed to be really cool.

nice try miss jayroe... those of you guys that are going to china with me though, i would like to arrange a saturday for us to go as a group... i think that would be a wonderful prep.
Qin was a very effective ruler. He took over through force and made some very important inventions at that time, but was he really that great? For example he drank poison and died cause he knew once he died his empire would fall, so why not have a second in command who could watch ur every step and do things the excact way you do instead of trying to live forever. But then again they probably didn't know that death was inevitable
This actually sounds pretty interesting. Mr. Prill you said that you want to arrange a Saturday for the people who are going on the China trip to go to the exhibit, can people who aren't going on the China trip go too?

The high museum of art is amazing, I went over the summer to the the LOUGE (crap from Paris), what a coincedence, it had so much stuff from greeks, romans, entruscans, egyptians and its cool how now i can see it all come together. I would love to meet you son. that would be cool.
