"...Americans should feel the pain they have inflicted on other peoples of the world, so as when they suffer, they will find the right solution and the right path. " - President Saddam Hussein, Iraq
That quote further supported the issue talked about in class. Also, with all the minute by minute reportings, it seemed as if better communication might have enabled u.s. defense to shoot down the planes sooner. Also was wondering what kind of weapons the hijackers had if 3 people were able to take down 5 hijakers.

September 11, 2001 was a real scar for this country. i think that it was a big wake up call to this country and that we need to open our ears and minds to the world around us. We are not the center of the universe and this event showed to the Americans that we aren't. We were warned repeatedly and because of our arrogance this happened.

Wow really ironic
International Peace Day.

"This is a war between good
and evil and between humanity and the bloodthirsty." -Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Israel "
is the truth behing this event and in the world. People have become extremely inhumane and heartless.
and we as people are so egotistic.
Arrogance never leads to anything

I was never able to quite make the connection as to why the World Trade Center was really attacked until today. Us, as Americans, should have paid more attention when we first received threats of attack. We support and lead globalization. The perfect way to oppose this would be destroying the World Trade Center. We should have seen it coming. I'm really hoping that Americans are learning to be less ignorant of the world around us after 9/11. Major wake up call.
