Born the son of an Austrian customs official and is German wife in 1889, Adolf Hitler moved to Vienna at the age of nineteen to seek a career as an artist or architect. His efforts failed, however, and he lived at the bottom of Viennese society, drifting from one low-paying job to another. In 1912 he moved to Munich, where his life fell into the same purposeless pattern. Enlistment in the German army in World War I rescued Hitler, giving him comradeship and a sense of direction he had lacked. After the war a shattered Hitler returned to Munich, where in 1919 he joined the small German Workers’ Party, which in 1920 changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, or Nazis.After becoming leader of the National Socialists, Hitler staged an abortive coup d’état against the government of the German state of Bavaria in 1923. For this he was sentenced to a five-year prison term (serving only nine months), during which he wrote the first volume of Mein Kampf (My Struggle). Hitler believes that the purpose of human existence is to grow strong. Survival of the fitest, overpower weaker species or races if you have to in oder to make your own stronger. He believes the only way that humans can progree is through this evolution. This guy was definitely reading some of Darwin. Hitler says the Jews are inferior to the Aryans in that the Aryans have been able to develope and prosper but the Jews have stayed the same for 2000 years. Yet his only "example" is that the Jews have never had their own state, that it has always been made for them by someone else. He also goew on to say that they don' have any sort of "Idealistic spirit", nothing to make them want to progress. Pretty twisted logic if you ask me.
agh! After the 1st page I already hate this man. Who is he to decide the way nature works. Scientists may be able to observe, but do they truly know it's course. The sick may be weak, but what right does that give the healther to push them farther down and harm them even more. Why must anyone be "dominant"? And as he said, "Only born weaklings can find this cruel..." It is a pity then that no one took the liberty to break his legs so he could see from someone else's point of view, because he apparently cannot do so without believing he is superior.

If the early people all came out of the same place, and spread from there, what truly different traits do Jews have from Arayans? They some from Semitic lang. family, which just implies a different group. Why are THEY not in turn the DOMINANT group? Why MUST "civilization" and "human progress" be preserved or continued?! He thinks everything is the product of the Arayans. Does he know anything about the Asian people at all??

I dislike how he mentions that the weak have to say in the fact that the strong must take over. Almost like they have no way to think for themselves.

Obviously, young Hitler fell down the path of Social Darwinism. He believes the Aryan race to be superior to all others, and Jewish people to be holding back the progress of the Aryans.
First of all, if Hitler wasnts to truly follow the teachings of Darwin, he should get his facts straight. Darwin says the same species can develop unique traits in different habitats of the world in order to better their chances of survival, as seen in Darwins studies of Finches. Hitler is saying that Jews are inferior to Aryans because they lack no desire to progress. This already contradicts Darwin, because Darwin never says a race of a species can develop mentally. Hitler, was obviously a bit off mentally. All of his thoughts are totally false and nothing more than self-glorifying on his behalf. He never said anything against his own race.

this guy is nuts. he saw horrific things in war (possibly, im guessing) and then was thrown i jail.... when people get lonely they do strabge things or go in mental breakdown mode... he most likely just wanted some followers and then he wanted to blame someone... everyone wants to blame anyone but themselves.. he ust went way toooooo far.

Hitler views the Aryans as the "Promethius" race, bringing light and being the source of art and culture. He views the Jews as a pack of wolves who only come together when they have to, they are described and self-preserving, but old-fashioned and not capable of evolving its culture. He states that they are always borrowing from other societies, not the other way around. Hitler states that democracy is inefficient and that the national interest should be furthered by one leader, with the advice from others. He views the role of parliament in a "folkish" (Aryan) state to be limitting. It is very clear that Hitler wants to reinstate a foreign policy of imperialism.

Hitler certainly sets goals of "evolving" the Aryan "race". This will be done through eugenics, and we know what this leads to... It can be inferred that Hitler is against democracy because it is limitting to the progress of a nation in his view. Hitler's problem with Communism is that it serves the purpose of making all individuals equal with a dictatorship of the proletariat, which would also limit the progress of a nation according to Hitler's belief that the best way for a nation to progress is through fascism and totalinarianism. It is important to note the the fascist-esque nature of the USSR under Stalin is different from Marxism in that it stresses the importance of a single totalitarian leader.

But what i dont get is what makes a race superior in the first plce. and in a way this reminds me of darwins theory of evolution, like suvival of the fittest becuas ein a point of hitlers book he said that the one who try or something deserve to live and the ones who dont try dont deserve to live.
Hitler seems to believe that the sole purpose of human existence is to grow stronger, to adapt, and to altogether better mankind. he thinks that the race who has done this the best or laid the foundation for other races to improve and grow is the Aryan race, who he thinks have had original ideas, the very original ideas that came with the creation of the world, and that they were not afraid to change those ideas and systems when it was necessary for human improvement. hitler likes PROGRESS. he states that the jews are inferior to the Aryans because they have survived so much adversity and trial with such a tenatious will to live. that sounds like a good thing to me: they've kept their culture and beliefs alive through so much, and little was lost, but hitler thinks otherwise. he says that the jews are inferior BECAUSE of this resistance, because throughout it all, they have changed so little. they haven't adapted. in hitler's eyes, they haven't made enough PROGRESS. therefore, they are the weaker race.
everything that hitler says seems drawn from Darwinism--only the strong survive. he takes it to a new level, though: only the strong and intellegent deserve to live.
he talks about a "folkish" state, and this makes no sense to me: "folkish" means working for the people, and yet his idea of this is placing all of the power in the hands of one man? that doesn't seem to be a government system for the people. more like "i'm right, you're wrong. get over it and do what i say or i'll kill you."
Hitler is crazy, and he is cruel if he thinks that he can kill somebody or euthanize somebody just because they are old or disabled is wrong.

He seems very strong of this idea of purebred Germans, wanting to keep all of Germany clean of only pure German blood. I think this is cool and all but he seems very pushy about it all, that this is the right idea and nothing else is. He says also that we are all fighting an endless struggle for domination and if you're going to be in it just die. He seems very opinionated.
Hitler basicly combines personal prejudices with the prejudices that people already possessed to further put down the Jewish people. People already were prejudiced against Jews, so he only needed to point out (falseley) of how the Jewish people were pulling down society. Hitler tried to lack of a Jewish homeland as meaning that the Jewish people were incompetent, which he tries to point out a lot just by pointing out their hardships. He also tries to say that the Jewish people are selfish by questioning how else a group of people so hated could have lasted so long, which he uses to say that their selfishness would further bring down society. He also uses the lack of a Jewish homeland to try and say that the Jewish people add nothing to society. He also tries to make it seem as though the Jewish people were responsible for the problems in the economy due to the number of Jewish people working in the banking system. It's ironic and twisted how everything he tries to use to further discredit the Jewish people is actually caused by his beloved Aryan race.
I really hate to say this but I didn't even know about some of this stuff. It such a disgrase that he treated the disabeled the way he did. That's even more dispicable. Not saying what he did to Jews was any better.
Hitler thinks he is just doing what nature would have him to do. He thinks that the Aryan race is superior therefore they should survive. This does not make any sense though. In nature, animals don't see themselves a superior to others and therefore try to kill the other animal. It just happens naturally that the stronger survive and the weak do not. There is no thought behind it. Hitler is obviously twisting this logic.
Hitler says that the reason there is life is so that the best mate can be found and ensuring that their offspring have the best possible genetic mix to ensure survival. He states that Jews are weak because they did not have a state of their own, so they relied on other civilizations to hold them up. Hitler also says the role of the government is to take over land that he believes that the people rightfully deserve. He thinks that the parliament does not get anything done with so many parties.

even though hitler's beliefs were pretty bad, i must say it must have been really convincing and a good leader to get a lot of people behind him and follow him. He believed that the Aryan race was superior to all others and that Jewish people should die. He tired to blame a lot of problems on the jews. He said that they were selfish, unchanging in inner qualities, lack the most basic characteristic of a truley cultured people, and more. i must say he was a pretty twisted fella.
i cant believe hitler did these types of things. What gives him the right to treat other people this way? just cuz they were different or had different customs? Did he ever stop to think that maybe there were more people to the great depression than just jews???
The entire document is basically Aryns created it all, we are the fire that guides the world and they worked for everything which makes them superior
